Reiki explained
Reiki is a Japanese relaxation and stress-relief technique that can also promote healing by helping the body shift out of the stress response and into a parasympathetic, or “rest and restore,” state supported by the vagus nerve.
Reiki is gentle, non-invasive, and has been studied to be effective using a variety of approaches, including light hands-on touch, hands-off techniques, and even sessions offered from a distance.
Clients remain fully clothed at all times.
Reiki can be enjoyed throughout life—from young children and teens to adults in their later years. Sessions can easily be adapted to each person’s age, comfort, mobility, and individual needs.
Reiki can even be shared with our animal companions, offering safe and effective support for physical and emotional comfort.
